This SharePoint 2007 site was targeted at design professionals, so the client's main ask was that it look as beautiful as possible, which meant extreme amounts of SharePoint customization. I delved deep into the inner workings of the many CSS files in SharePoint to create a rich, dynamic user experience. An agency-provided Silverlight control sits in the banner section of the homepage only so I created several custom page layouts to accommodate. I exercised extreme care to be certain the site was cross-browser and cross-platform compatible, despite SharePoint's difficult code.
